Can I drop into Bored Owl’s warehouse without appointment?

Yes, we are open to customers between 10am and 2pm Monday to Friday.

By making an appointment we can open by arrangement at other times. FYI: there is a fence around the site which is closed outside normal business hours so if your appointment was outside these hours we’d need to meet you at the main entrance to site. Just email us if you’d like to make an appointment.

Warranty and returns from the online shop?

We provide warranty of 12 months for Bored Owl products from the date of purchase and we are happy to refund or exchange just send us an email. We enclose warranty information within each Bored Owl product box so please keep it for future reference.

For any other suppliers products which we stock from time to time as Maker supplies in our shop we will refund if the goods are unsuitable. Just send us an email.

What payment options are available in the online shop?

Payment online is via credit or debit card using Stripe or Paypal. For your peace of mind these are standard options for payments via a Squarespace websites, and we have a Squarespace website. We have tested our payment system by ordering items ourselves.

By request we are happy to provide email quotations if that suits you better than card payment options. Please contact us via email: dev@boredowl.com.au

How will order processing and payments work for an online shop order?

We receive order notifications from Squarespace from the shop website and then we accept your payment by clicking order fulfilled. When you submit an online order it requires an email address so if we have any questions about your order we will email you to check we understand your order before accepting payment. This means we can still refund payments if needed.

Any discounts which are available in our online shop for your order are automatically applied at the checkout and it will show you this on the checkout screen.

Your invoice is emailed to you automatically when we click that your order is fulfilled.

We will email you tracking details after lodging the parcel with Australia Post if you’ve requested shipping for your order.

If you’d like delivery to an address outside of Australia just email us at dev@boredowl.com.au and we’ll provide a delivery quotation for you to consider and we then can provide an invoice for payment if you’d like to proceed with the order.

We love gift wrapping to make your order more exciting to receive, so if you’d like gift wrapping just email us when you place your order.

Can I pickup my online shop order at the Bored Owl warehouse?

Yes, just select “Pickup from Bored Owl shop” when you are placing your order. We are open for customers from 10am to 2pm Monday to Friday. Just ring the doorbell if you can’t see us on arrival.

Can I use my own courier?

Yes, just select “Pickup from Bored Owl shop” when you are placing your order then email us at: dev@boredowl.com.au with your request to use your own courier. Let us know when to expect your courier and we’ll confirm if we can be available at the requested time.
