Bored Owl digit board for makers and hobbyists.
Digit boards are 7 segment display boards designed and built by Bored Owl. Initially we designed the boards for use in our clocks but they are so useful for lots of projects where you want to display numbers so we’re making the boards available to makers and hobbyists to use in their own projects.
Digits are driven “serially” with a clock, data and load signal. The power for the digit can be 5V to 15V. Digit brightness is controlled by a PWM input. Extra digits are “daisy-chained” to make clocks, counters, meters or scoreboards. Digit colours and sizes can be arbitrarily mixed in a chain of digits. Arduino libraries and example code for the boards are available on request.
Digit board dimensions: 60mm x 85mm
Digit boards are available with the following LED filament colours:
Green
Warm white
Red
Blue
Purple
